Went out with Aunt Victoria(from Taiwan)to Orchard Road today.It's such a happy and relaxing day(L)

The streets were scattered with people,near me,a distance away from me,and across the roads and in the buildings there were many people,but it wasn't as packed as weekends:)The shi chang(atmosphere/ambience) was great,it was peaceful and the cool winds blew from the sides...The tree trunks and up to the branches was wrapped in a large polka-dots plastic,and from the little branches hangs a huge red polka-dotted ball."How cute it is!Are they for a special occasion?"I wondered...I was so much like a foreigner,a strange foreigner who doesn't know about Singapore well!:$
Aunt Victoria wanted to find a street stall to buy food from,and I didn't feel hungry at all;perhaps I was,but it wasn't obvious.She loved to eat,just like my mum.(lol,when she told me she bought 3 sets of bento by the beach and had them all by herself,my jaw dropped instantly!EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The both of us walked here & there and I eventually decided I buy from Burger King(Tm).A bacon burger cost a fucking $6.00 to my DISGUST!:@How COULD it be SO expensive!I forgot abt buying it and went for a large-sized fries instead:)

We sat down and finished the limpy lame* fries and talked for a short while before she said she wanted to go for a TAROT CARD READING!!!I was extremely shocked at WHY she wanted to do this.It was very dim and I couldn't see the cards well,and the MOST INTERESTING thing was that I was asked to be the TRANSLATOR!!!That is,translate into English what the man has said into mandarin for Aunt Victoria-And translate into English what Victoria has said in Mandarin.Right from the start,I could see that the man,who was in his 30s,couldn't understand Victoria's English well,and I felt awkward...I not into Tarot card readings,it's just for curiosity and etc-And I would not and could not believe in it.

She told me later Singaporeans are not as fashionable as Taiwanese people,and I think so too;on the other hand,I felt it is because Taiwan is close to Japan & korea?That's why???Then she shrugged and crossed her aRmS and showed a *thinking* face.She also commented that the taxi fares here are SO cheap!Hao pian yi,she said...duh,cuz' the currency is different;just as Jp\ is Jp\,and Sg$ is Sg$!!!Just Thai baht is thai baht!Things in thailand are also much cheaper than in Sg,isn't it,cuz,Thailand is less-developed than SIngapore;)
